At a glance

Research-use wording is not a substitute for law. Product status, purchase, import, possession and use remain subject to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

01 — About UKDP

Dagger Peptides Ltd, trading as UK Direct Peptides (“UKDP”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17222378. Our registered office is Clock House Farm, Lea Road, Lea Town, Preston, England, PR4 0RA. General enquiries: info@ukdirectpeptides.com.

02 — Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to use of ukdirectpeptides.com and to orders placed through the website. By using the site or submitting an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them.

If you buy on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over any conflicting provision in these terms.

03 — Who may order

You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to enter a contract and provide complete, accurate billing, delivery and contact information. You may order only for a lawful purpose and must comply with the Research Use Policy and all laws applying to the purchase, import, possession, handling, use and disposal of the product.

We may make proportionate checks, ask for information about the intended use or destination, limit quantities, or refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary for safety, legality or fraud prevention. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount due without undue delay.

04 — Research use and compliance

Products are presented and supplied for controlled laboratory research only. They are not offered for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis or treatment. Website content is not medical, clinical, veterinary or administration advice.

The purchaser is responsible for determining that purchase, import, possession, storage, handling, use and disposal are lawful and appropriate in the relevant jurisdiction and facility. A “research use only” statement does not override applicable medicines, chemicals, customs, sanctions, health and safety or other law.

05 — Orders and contract formation

An order is an offer to buy. Automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not mean the order has been accepted. A contract is formed when UKDP sends dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.

We may reject or cancel an order before dispatch where stock is unavailable, payment is not received, information is incomplete, pricing is clearly erroneous, the destination is unsupported, or legal, fraud-prevention, safety or compliance concerns arise. Any payment taken for a cancelled order will be returned.

06 — Product information and lots

We take reasonable care with descriptions, images, sizes, volumes and catalogue information. Screen colours, packaging and presentation may vary. The received label, batch or lot reference and supporting information take priority for the item supplied.

Specifications can vary by product and lot. A general purity or format statement should not be treated as lot-specific evidence unless supported by the applicable label or documentation.

07 — Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Taxes and delivery charges are shown as applicable before the order is confirmed.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Bank-transfer orders are not processed until cleared funds are received and matched. Payments are handled through the relevant banks or the payment provider identified at checkout; UKDP does not ask customers to send payment credentials by email.

Order confirmations, payment updates and other transactional messages are sent from sales@ukdirectpeptides.com. Customer-support requests should be sent to help@ukdirectpeptides.com.

08 — Delivery, export and import

Orders are dispatched through Royal Mail to UK and international destinations made available at checkout, where lawful and carrier-supported. Delivery is governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

For consumers, we deliver without undue delay and normally within 30 days unless another period is agreed. We remain responsible for loss or damage until the goods are physically received by you or a person you nominate, except where you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer.

International customers are responsible for checking destination-country legality and permits, and for import VAT, customs duty and other charges unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Customs may inspect, delay, refuse or return a parcel. We may decline restricted destinations or products.

09 — Cancellations, returns and refunds

Email us promptly if you wish to cancel before dispatch. If the order has not entered dispatch, we will cancel it and refund the amount paid. This operational route does not replace a statutory cancellation right.

An eligible consumer buying at a distance may normally cancel until 14 days after receiving the goods and then has a further 14 days to return them. Product-specific legal exceptions can apply, including for rapidly deteriorating goods and genuinely sealed health-protection or hygiene goods once unsealed. Full conditions, return costs, refund timing and the model form are in the Returns & Cancellations Policy.

Nothing in these terms removes statutory remedies for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

10 — Handling and purchaser responsibility

The purchaser must use competent personnel, appropriate facilities, risk assessment, personal protective equipment, storage controls and disposal procedures. Follow the received label and lot-specific supporting information.

UKDP is not responsible for loss caused by use outside the stated research context, unlawful use, incorrect storage, unauthorised relabelling, mixing, reconstitution or handling after delivery, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

11 — Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to those protections, UKDP is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss arising from unlawful or prohibited use, or loss caused by events outside reasonable control. Consumers remain entitled to remedies required by law.

12 — Website use and intellectual property

The website, branding, catalogue copy, graphics and original content are owned by or licensed to UKDP. They may not be copied, republished or used to misrepresent an affiliation without permission.

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or introduce malicious code. We may suspend access needed to protect the site or its users.

13 — Privacy and cookies

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in the Cookie Policy.

14 — Complaints

Send order or customer-service complaints to help@ukdirectpeptides.com with the order number and a clear description of the issue. General or legal correspondence can be sent to info@ukdirectpeptides.com. We will try to resolve the matter fairly and promptly and will provide any alternative-dispute-resolution information the law requires if it remains unresolved.

15 — Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although a consumer retains mandatory protections of the place where they live and may bring a claim in any court available under applicable law.

We may update these terms for future orders to reflect legal, regulatory, operational or service changes. The terms in force when we accept an order apply to that order. If one provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue.
