02 — Permitted research context
Products are presented for controlled laboratory research by competent persons using appropriate facilities, risk assessment, supervision and procedures. A purchaser must independently determine whether a material and proposed protocol are suitable and lawful.
Permitted context may include analytical, assay, method-development or other non-clinical laboratory work consistent with the product label and supporting information.
05 — Handling, storage and disposal
Review the received label, lot reference and available supporting information before handling. Storage and handling requirements can differ between materials and forms; do not assume one general rule applies to every product.
Use an appropriate risk assessment, containment, personal protective equipment and disposal route. Do not rely on website copy as a substitute for qualified laboratory judgement or site procedures.
06 — Labels, lots and documentation
The received label and applicable lot or batch information identify the supplied material. General catalogue descriptions, illustrations or template specifications do not replace lot-specific evidence.
Report any label, seal, identity, documentation or condition concern before use and retain the item and packaging while UKDP investigates.
08 — Resale, transfer and export
Do not relabel, repackage, advertise or resell a product in a way that changes or misrepresents its intended research context. Any onward transfer or export must preserve traceability and comply with applicable law.
International customers must check destination-country rules before ordering. Checkout availability does not confirm that import or possession is lawful.
09 — Order review and refusal
UKDP may request information, refuse supply, restrict quantities, hold or cancel an order where the proposed use is unclear or gives rise to legal, safety, fraud or compliance concerns. Any payment taken for an order cancelled before supply will be returned.
