Cookie Policy

How the UKDP website uses cookies and similar browser technologies for baskets, accounts, security, preferences and optional measurement.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

At a glance

Your privacy, your choice. Necessary technologies are always active. Analytics and marketing are off by default. Use Accept all, Reject non-essential or Manage preferences in the privacy panel.

01 — Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by a website in a browser. The site may also use local storage, pixels, tags and comparable technologies that store or read information on a device.

These technologies can keep a basket working, protect account sessions, remember choices and—with permission where required—help measure or market the site.

02 — Strictly necessary technologies

Essential technologies provide a service requested by the visitor, keep the store secure and remember the privacy choice. They cannot all be disabled without affecting core features.

Name or patternPurposeTypical duration
woocommerce_cart_hash
woocommerce_items_in_cart

wordpress_sec_*

cmplz_*
wp_consent_*
Stores the consent choice, category preferences and policy version so the site can honour or revisit the choiceUp to 180 days

Names and lifetimes may change when WordPress, WooCommerce, security or consent components are updated.

03 — Functional technologies

Preferences technologies remember optional choices or provide enhanced features. Rejecting them may remove the enhancement without preventing basic browsing and checkout.

For guests, the wishlist can use woosw_key and related session storage for up to seven days. Its front-end storage is held back until Preferences consent is given. Product comparison data such as woosc_* is created when a visitor asks to use the comparison feature and typically lasts for about seven days. woocommerce_recently_viewed is generally session-based.

04 — Analytics and performance

Analytics technologies help show how visitors use the site and where improvements are needed. Google Analytics is planned, but no Google Analytics measurement ID is currently configured and UKDP is not currently sending analytics data to Google.

When configured, Google Analytics will remain inactive until Analytics consent is given. Typical identifiers include _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which can last for up to two years. The exact identifiers and verified durations will be reviewed when the service is activated.

05 — Marketing technologies

Advertising, attribution and cross-site tracking are non-essential and stay off until Marketing consent is given. WooCommerce order attribution can then use sbjs_* identifiers to record referral source, campaign information, device type and page views associated with an order. These are normally session-based and currently use a session of approximately 30 minutes.

Meta Pixel is planned, but no Meta Pixel ID is currently configured and no Pixel data is currently sent to Meta. When activated with consent, common Meta identifiers include _fbp and _fbc, typically for up to 90 days. UKDP does not treat continued browsing as consent.

06 — Managing preferences

The first privacy panel lets visitors Accept all, Reject non-essential or choose individual Preferences, Analytics and Marketing categories. Necessary technologies remain active.

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to review, change or withdraw consent. A choice is normally remembered for up to 180 days; a fresh choice may be requested sooner if purposes or providers materially change. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful use, and the consent manager removes known non-essential cookies where technically possible.

Browser settings can also block or delete stored information. Blocking essential cookies may stop baskets, checkout, account login or security features from working correctly.

07 — Third parties and policy changes

Planned analytics and marketing providers include Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC for Google Analytics, and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms, Inc. for Meta Pixel. Their notices are available in the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.

No data is currently sent to those services because their site identifiers are not configured. If they are activated, the relevant service remains blocked until the visitor gives the corresponding consent. Payment, delivery, embedded-content, security or other providers may also use technologies under their own notices when their services are requested.

UKDP reviews cookie use when providers or site features change. For questions, email info@ukdirectpeptides.com. Personal-data use is explained in the Privacy Policy.
